Opening a photo in Photoshop®
Elements 6 is the first step to begin altering photos and Digital Scrapbooking.
This Digital Scrapbooks and More Lesson goes through the steps on how to open a
photo in Photoshop® Elements 6

Step 1: Open PSE 6 in the
Editor |

Open Photoshop® Elements 6 in the Editor Mode |

Step 2: Open your Photo Files |
|
||||
|
Go
to File > Open Or you can use the keyboard shortcut
by clicking on Ctrl
+ O |
|
|

|
Step 3: Open the Folder Containing your
Photo |
|
||||
|
A pop-up window will
appear Go to the file that
holds your photos, and navigate to the folder that contains the photo you
would like to use. (see arrow #1 in red) Double click on the
folder that contains the photo you would like to use. (see arrow #2 in red) |

Step 4: Open Your Photo |

|
Click
on the photo that you would like to use (see arrow #1
in red) Click
Open to open that photo in
Photoshop Elements 6 (see arrow #2 in red) |

Step 5: Your photo is now open on PSE 6 |

||||
|
Your
photo is now open on Photoshop Elements 6! |
