How do I get started?
If you are new to digital scrapbooking, we know it may feel a little overwhelming when you are not quite sure where to begin. Not to worry, we understand your confusion, because we were once confused about digital scrapbooking ourselves! We believe it is time to take the guess-work out of digital scrapbooking and just give you the real answers! Helping you to learn and really enjoy digital scrapbooking one step at a time is exactly why we created the Digital Scrapbooks and More website.
We recommend that all our beginners start with our training tutorials first. We have made our tutorials extremely easy to use and understand; starting from the VERY beginning and without missing critical steps and lessons in between.
Our tutorials go in order and you can buy them one lesson at a time; or buy the entire "Getting Started Series" at once - for those that want to master the art of digital scrapbooking! ...It’s all up to you!
So, our new digital scrapbooking friends, this is what you need to do:
- To start digital scrapbooking today, you need: A computer, photos or pictures, and Photoshop® or Photoshop® Elements (or other photo software program).
- Next, you need digital scrapbooking training. Go to our “Scrap Shop” link on the Digital Scrapbooks and More website.
- Once on our “Scrap Shop” link, you can buy our Lessons individually, or you can buy Multiple Lessons in the "Getting Started Series" that would be Lesson 1 through Lesson 6 for either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. Or buy the whole Getting Started in Digital Scrapbooking series on CD! It is up to you, but keep in mind that if you are a beginner, we recommend that you start from the very beginning and that you buy and watch the tutorials in order.
- Continue your digital scrapbooking training with our tutorials untill you have completed the Getting Started Series and then you will have a good idea how to digital Scrap. Continue your training to more advanced Scrapbooking topics or Digital Photo Editing. We have Intermediate and Advanced Tutorials if you want to go to the next level!
- Once you understand how to digitally scrap, go back to our “Scrap Shop” and get all the best scrapbooking kits, holiday scrap kits, quick pages, brushes, overlays and other digital supplies so that you can create your own digital scrapbook masterpieces! - As you continue to make digital scrapbook pages, albums, letters, recipes, gifts and more, keep checking back with us for the newest tutorials with the latest tips and tricks, and the hottest, new digital scrap stuff!
